What happens after kids age out of the children's homes?

What happens when a young adult in one of our children's homes ages out of the system?

At One Body One Hope, we are committed to not just feeding and sheltering the kids in our care, but successfully launching them into the "real world." That's where our Sponsorship to Scholarship program comes in--and we are so excited about how God is moving through this new initiative!

We've been in ministry for fourteen years now, and over that time we've quite literally grown up alongside these amazing kids. It has been such a joy watching them learn and develop, and to celebrate the milestones of graduations, important birthdays, and new opportunities with them. We feel so blessed to help them pursue their dreams!

There are currently fourteen students who have graduated high school but are still living at Christ Our Hope as they continue their education. They include students in nursing school, education majors, trade school, and more. Six of our students are attending Monrovia Bible College and hope to continue to spread the good news through preaching, teaching, evangelism, and leading worship.

Want to get involved?

The young adults at Christ Our Hope can only continue their educations with the help of donors. Many of our child sponsors have chosen to continue the sponsorship of their growing kids, but providing for a scholarship student is more than double the cost of a regular sponsorship.

We're looking for more partners and friends to come on board and provide a life-giving scholarship for a high school graduate in our care. A one-time donation or a monthly scholarship contribution will help us support these young men and women as they prepare to launch into successful and meaningful careers all across Liberia.
