Introducing Interim Development Coordinator, Austin Lindemulder

Dear friends and supporters of One Body One Hope,

It is with great delight that we announce a new endeavor of One Body One Hope: our first full-time employee. Our board has finalized plans to hire Austin Lindemulder. You can read Austin’s bio below, but for a quick frame of reference, Austin was the catalyst that started the farm bridge project and also one of the four Dordt engineering majors who saw it through to completion. Austin has been to Liberia many times, and our Liberian friends call him “The Commander." The leadership of OBOH found Austin, an engineer that truly cares about using his professional skills in a way that benefits struggling communities, and it has become apparent that this is the logical and very exciting next step in our growth of our organization. We hope you agree and are excited about this addition!

Austin’s title will be Interim Development Coordinator and his job will have components in both the US and Liberia. On this side of the Atlantic, Austin will work primarily with growth and organizational development, furthering the reach of OBOH and expanding our base and connections. He will also be an integral part of our teams as he works to coordinate communications and streamline processes. In addition to this, he will work on project preparations for his time in Liberia.  While there, Austin will be a programs catalyst, helping implement ideas, engineering projects and strategies and helping coordinate new endeavors. It is our hope that Austin will split his time between the US and Liberia, but specific timeframes and trip dates have not yet been set. However, we plan to have Austin officially begin his year-long, interim position (with a review and potential extension of employment) on June 1.

At OBOH, we strongly believe that Austin Lindemulder is a great hire for us and will significantly expand our impact through development and engineering projects.

However, in order to partner with Austin, we need some help. Please take a moment to consider supporting these efforts in hiring Austin. We plan to have 100% of his salary and expenses raised by the time he begins on June 1. It's a BIG goal but we believe God has led us to this point and we believe he will provide! How? Through generosity and partnership with people like YOU. Want to get involved?

Thank you so much sharing our joy!

Grace and peace,

One Body One Hope
