Partnering with A Community
At One Body One Hope, sponsorship is more than giving—it’s partnership. Each opportunity below connects you directly to the work happening across Liberia through our mission homes, schools, farms, churches, and microfinance program. Whether you choose to support a child, teacher, pastor, or farmer, your sponsorship helps sustain ongoing transformation and builds long-term resilience in the communities we serve.
Child Sponsorship – $60/month
Provides food, shelter, K–12 Christian education, medical care, and life skills support for a child in one of our three Mission Homes. Sponsorship is representative, not child-specific.
Teacher Sponsorship – $100/month
Supports one teacher in the Vine School System of Christ, ensuring they receive a livable wage and professional development opportunities, including participation in our annual teacher training conference.
School Sponsorship – $10,000–$15,000/year
Covers operating costs for a full school campus, including teacher salaries, building maintenance, school meals, and materials. Supports grades PreK–5 ($10K) or PreK–8 ($15K).
Pastor Sponsorship – $200/month
Provides a salary for an AVDC pastor serving one of our 38 churches across Liberia and Sierra Leone. Many pastors serve with little or no income—your support sustains their ministry and families.
Church Building Sponsorship – $10,000 (one-time)
Funds the land purchase and construction of a permanent worship space for an AVDC congregation, many of whom currently meet in makeshift or outdoor settings.
Farmer Sponsorship – $100/month
Supports a Liberian farmer working at Harbel Farm. Sponsorship covers wages, training, and tools needed to grow crops that feed families, support local economies, and drive long-term food security.
Microfinance Support – Any Amount
While not a fixed sponsorship, donors can support entrepreneurs through one-time or recurring gifts. Most loans are under $1,000, with 86% going to women-led businesses.
