Program Spotlight: Schools
The Vine School System of Christ (VSSC) was started on the Dumbar Farm compound of Christ Our Hope Children’s Home nearly twelve years ago. In just over a decade, four more schools have come under the VSSC umbrella (Todee, Kebah, Kakata, and Harbel) and we are hoping to add a fifth on the Christ Our Hope North campus soon.
Teacher training has become an important part of our ministry as we seek to equip these educators to impact their students and beyond. For the last several years we have conducted an annual teachers' conference that empowers the educators in our growing school system and allows them to connect and share best practices. We firmly believe that education is one of the very best tools we have to impact the individuals and communities we care so deeply about.
One of One Body One Hope's biggest needs right now is raising funds for teacher salaries so we can hire and retain committed teachers on staff at all our schools.
