Fulltime Director of Ministries Opportunity

One Body One Hope has a fulltime position opening for a Director of Ministries who will work with its board of directors on project management, communication with existing supporters, cultivating new friends of the ministry, and periodic travel between NW Iowa and Liberia.

One Body One Hope operates pastoral and church-planting support as well as numerous community development projects in partnership with the Abide in the Vine Disciples Church in Liberia, West Africa. Over 100 employees work fulltime in partnership with OBOH in Liberia, including pastors, teachers, farmers, caretakers, and more. In the U.S., One Body One Hope operates volunteer teams that assist our Liberian friends through Agricultural support, Educational support, Media & Communications, Homes & Health, Fund Raising, Church Relations/Pastoral Training, and Microfinance and Entrepreneurship.

Ideal candidates will:

⦁ Be passionate about the growth of God’s global church at work

⦁ Maintain an ever-deepening walk with Christ

⦁ Be comfortable in a variety of denominational and cultural settings

⦁ Have strong networking and relational skills

⦁ Work well independently and as a self-starter

⦁ Be willing to travel 2-4 times per year to Liberia

⦁ Possess strong skills in communicating both orally and written

⦁ Be organized and excel at following through

⦁ Have an entrepreneurial spirit

⦁ Help the board establish and grow an internship program

⦁ Ideally have a history of experience and/or education in Christian missions and/or non-profit work
